Public bug reported: After upgrade to 6-14-0ubuntu1.8.04 ('hardy-updates'), firefox (I tried with both firefox-3.0 and -3.5) hangs when I go to my online bank page (the url is http://merkurwebbank.dk, but I don't think it shows the applet if you're not a customer). The firefox window seizes to repaint, apart from the applet area, which shows a 'loading' graphic. After a few seconds, firefox approaches 100% CPU usage and the desktop becomes unresponsive.
Downgrading to the version in 'hardy' (6-06-0ubuntu1) fixes it for the bank use case. I'm on "Ubuntu 8.04.3 LTS", Kubuntu flavor. ** Affects: sun-java6 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Online bank stops working after upgrade https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/409052 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
