Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: network-manager

I ran all the updates for last and this morning and I rebooted right before I
left for work and when I got back to the desktop
the network connection icon was just spinning when it normally takes a few
seconds to make a wireless connection and less than that to make a wired
connection. I disabled my wireless drivers and rebooted with an Ethernet cable
and it just sat there spinning and never made a connection.

Description: Ubuntu karmic (development branch)
Release: 9.10

I can't run "apt-cache policy network-manager" ( since I'm at work right
now )

i think the version number was "0.7.1.git.5.272c6a626-0ubuntu1" but I
will not beable to check until I get home.

** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
