I'm still getting this error. It's causing me huge headaches. The only way to keep this from occurring anymore is to turn my wireless switch off before shutting down.
I've been thinking, I do have a system that was built up from a command line install from the alternate CD. There could perhaps be a dependency that is not being installed...
