Just forgot what I said.... Open gconf-editor and go to apps/gnome-settings-daemon/plugins/keyboard and disable it ;) This bug has recently happened with Freenx session (since the last kernel update (2.6.28-14) actually) ...maybe you should open a new bug report ?
