The issue still exists with 64-bit Ubuntu 9.04 and aprsd version 1:2.2.5-13-4.
So far I have used a 32-bit Ubuntu virtual server in vmware-server to work around this issue, but it would be nice to be ablt to run aprsd natively on the 64-bit host OS Ubuntu 9.04 with vmware-server.
