Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-utils
Ubuntu Release 9.04 (jaunty) Kernel Linux 2.6.28-11-generic GNOME 2.26.1 Synaptic 0.62.5 system.kernel.machine x86_64 My Hardware: Memory 4 Gg Quad-Core Processor AMD PHENOM 9950 Motherboard Gigabyte GA-MA78G-DS3H Hard Drives Seagate ST31500341AS 1,5 TB and ST3500320AS 500Gig I have updated the Motherboard Firmware problem persists. The Hard Drives are set on BIOS as AHCI tried also as Native IDE, problem persists anyway. Same Issue working with Windows Vista and XP. Hard Drives hung after a few minutes start, just using a simple file or when they are required to manage heavy load (move heavy files from one HD to the other). It is necessary to reset the computer again to free the HD. Now using Live CD Ubuntu version. I attach Log. Could you help me with that bug? Thanks a lot in advance for your help.
