Public bug reported: Normal (previous) behaviour on booting a thin client at 192.168.1.128 is that after dhcp and tftp are found it states:
TFTP prefix: /ltsp/i386 Trying to load: pxelinux.cfg/ffffffff-ffff-ffff-ffff-ffffffffffff Trying to load: pxelinux.cfg/C0A80180 Trying to load: pxelinux.cfg/C0A8018 Trying to load: pxelinux.cfg/C0A801 ... Trying to load: pxelinux.cfg/0 whereupon it boots successfully. Update to Karmic and new ltsp-build-client gives this on the thin client: TFTP prefix: /ltsp/i386 Trying to load: pxelinux.cfg/ffffffff-ffff-ffff-ffff-ffffffffffff and then it hangs on this line, it never looks for the actual MAC address. ** Affects: ltsp (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- client does not complete pxelinux.cfg search https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/403710 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
