** Description changed: Binary package hint: gwibber What I expect to happen: When I click on the tray icon for Skype, if it is open on another workspace, the first click selects it. The second click minimizes it. The third click brings it up on the current workspace. I would expect as much with Gwibber. Actually, better would be to have it minimize on the first click (no need to select it first), then open it up again on the new workspace on the second click. What really happens: When I click on the tray icon for Gwibber, if it is open on another workspace, it minimizes. Clicking on the icon again brings it up on the original workspace. The only way to have the tray icon open it in the new workspace is if I switch to the workspace where it is open, minimize it there, then move to the new workspace and click on the icon again, in which case it does open in the workspace. + Update: What is worse is that if I minimize it from another workspace + via the tray icon, then return to the workspace where it was opened and + try to use the tray icon to restore it, it doesn't open, and I have to + find some kind of magic combination of tray icon presses on the two + desktops that brings it back, generally on the wrong desktop... I can't + figure out the pattern, but it certainly isn't what is supposed to + happen. + + ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 Date: Tue Jul 21 18:10:15 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: gwibber 1.2.0~bzr346-0ubuntu2 PackageArchitecture: all ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-3.19-generic SourcePackage: gwibber Uname: Linux 2.6.31-3-generic x86_64
