I've seen similar things with my PSC 2175 - print outs are scaled down by 50% (quarter area) by default, or really tiny when using kprinter filters such as pamphlet.
Distro: opensuse 11.1 HP Linux Imaging and Printing System (ver. 3.9.6b) Printer/Fax Setup Utility ver. 9.0 Originally I had this issue with the packman packages, so I uninstalled them and reinstalled direct from the hp page as per this process... http://forums.opensuse.org/hardware/417563-hplip-hosed-yet-again-after-recent-updates-05-july-2009-a.html#post2015070 But it made no difference. I set print quality to draft as per https://bugs.launchpad.net/hplip/+bug/392040, but that does not solve the issue when printing using kprinter filters. It does fix printing without kprinter filters. Any ideas?
