*** This bug is a security vulnerability *** Public security bug reported:
Binary package hint: pulseaudio I was running 1:0.9.14-0ubuntu20 version, all was well. The security fixes came out and I upgraded to the newest version for Jaunty. 1:0.9.14-0ubuntu20.2 after the upgrade, the system would start to act slower, until Xorg would consume an entire CPU at 100%. I renamed /usr/bin/pulseaudio to /usr/bin/pulsecrap and all was ok. I have since downgraded all of the .2 releases back to the original version and pinned them there, no other problems. There is something wrong with the security patches that came out.
