Public bug reported: Ubuntu 9.04 system-config-printer-gnome 1.1.3+git20090218-0ubuntu19.2 system-config-printer-common 1.1.3+git20090218-0ubuntu19.2
Right click on the printer and select properties to get the Printer configuration up. Settings: Description: HP-Laserjet-2200 Location: Desk Device URI: hp:/par/HP_LaserJet_2200?device=/dev/parport0 Make and Model: HP Laserjet 2200 Postscript (recommended) If I select Printer Options and tick the Tray 1 (Manual) box and then press Apply, subsequent prints correctly use Tray 1. If I then clear the Tray 1 (Manual) box and press Apply, the tick re- appears in the box. There is no way of turning this option off and making it stick. Workaround: This setting can also be controlled via the CUPS web interface at http://localhost:631 where it works correctly. This suggests the problem is not in CUPS itself. ** Affects: system-config-printer (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Cannot clear Tray 1 setting on HP-LaserJet-2200 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/400253 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
