Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: consolekit

Screen went blank when trying so save a pdf from evince, system didn't
respond to any key combination and had to be hard-rebooted. The only
information I found in logs at the crash moment is:

Jul 15 23:38:50 sanitarium-laptop console-kit-daemon[2595]:
GLib-GObject-WARNING: IA__g_object_get_valist: value location for `gchararray'

leading me to the conclusion that consolekit is the culprit.

I am running Ubuntu 9.04, up to date, consolekit is version
