mac_v didn't take care of one thing: when I'm browsing with nautilus, and I am in a directory, if I want to create a new document inside it, I will use the templates menu, and I will create the file INSIDE that folder. This is the real gain of templates. If instead of creating the file, the software is launched (as was suggesting mac_v), this would be considered: the default save path needs to be changed
