I just reported a serious GnuCash crash on their bugzilla http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=401963 but I also just heard through gnucash-users that this bug has been "long since" fixed and I should upgrade to GnuCash 2.0.4. Of course the latest version available in Ubuntu is older than that.
