This problem has been part of my Linux printing experience since the first time I got a Linux-compatible printer years ago. Wedding invitations? Nope. Birthday party? No. Envelopes? Forget about it! Every major event in my life is marred by a bad printing experience.
Now in Jaunty I try to print onto tiny paper from Inkscape, Scribus, evince, okular, no luck, the smaller page is printed on the bottom left corner of a Letter sized piece of paper instead of where it belongs. As a workaround I've given up and taken to formatting Letter sized documents with a small portion top center the size of the smaller paper I am using. /Maybe/ if I recompile my Samsung ML-2510's .ppd to actually include the paper size I want to print on things get ever so slightly better. I've already waited a decade for you to get better, Linux printing. Will you be ready for me in another decade when I have to print school graduation announcements?
