Public bug reported: Binary package hint: openoffice.org
In OOo impress 3.1, when opening a png or jpg file from a link (created with the interaction option in the presentation menu) in presentation mode will open that png or jpg file with openoffice Draw instead of Eye of Gnome although png and jpg files are set to be open with Eye of gnome. This is a regression since it was possible to open those files from OOo impress in presentation mode with EOG by default. To reproduce, create a blank presentation, add an object (maybe a circle) then select it and go to the presentation>interaction menu, choose to open a document and select a png or jpg file in your hard disk, finally press F5 (presentation mode) and it will open with OOo Draw, which is not what we want when performing a presentation. This happen despite of setting those files to be opened with EOG by default in Evolution file properties. This happen using OOo 3.1 from ppa OOo scribblers, under Ubuntu 8.10 and also 9.04. mitch...@toshiba:~$ apt-cache policy openoffice.org openoffice.org: Instalados: 1:3.1.0-5ubuntu1~jaunty1 Candidato: 1:3.1.0-5ubuntu1~jaunty1 Tabla de versiĆ³n: *** 1:3.1.0-5ubuntu1~jaunty1 0 500 http://ppa.launchpad.net jaunty/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 1:3.0.1-9ubuntu3 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com jaunty/main Packages ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04 Package: openoffice.org-core 1:3.1.0-5ubuntu1~jaunty1 ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=es_ES.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: openoffice.org Uname: Linux 2.6.30-10-generic x86_64 UnreportableReason: Este no es un paquete Ubuntu genuino ** Affects: openoffice.org (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug -- OpenOffice 3.1 Impress force to open a png or jpg file with OpenOffice Draw instead of Eye of Gnome https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/395650 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
