wow, I'm going to try that. I have been struggling with this bug for months. And in a working environment where I usually try to convince my colleages that linux is better, I have to say it was so embarassing that these artifacts appear all the time that I would only hide my kubuntu... Not even to mention the fact that I often need to make video presentations... what a shame. I have tried all combinations of intel driver options and versions, none would work.
