Anyone else get this fixed through the procedure above only to have it break
again recently with installation of Updates? I've tried to run back through
the update procedure and can't the first portion of it to run as described here:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1046137

Keeps presenting me with the following:

sudo AlsaUpgrade-1.0.x-rev-1.17.sh
sudo: AlsaUpgrade-1.0.x-rev-1.17.sh: command not found

Yet this worked from the same directory to get the issue resolved the
first time. Interestingly, before the volume no matter how loud was
barely noticable. It's louder now but still distorted and inaudible.

Any ideas?
