Public bug reported:

I have an Echoaudio Indigo DJx card. In order to make it work I have to
manually configure and compile the module from alsa-driver 1.0.20 and
manually install alsa-firmware-1.0.20.

After these steps, the card works but random freezes occur.

In order to solve this, one must force the pciehp module to load via a
boot parameter: pciehp.pciehp_force=1, but this seems to be specific to
my laptop (hp dv6000t). This also allows hotplugging of the card, as
long as you remember to unload snd-indigodjx before ejecting the card.

Currently running Ubuntu 9.04.
