Public bug reported: I have an Echoaudio Indigo DJx card. In order to make it work I have to manually configure and compile the module from alsa-driver 1.0.20 and manually install alsa-firmware-1.0.20.
After these steps, the card works but random freezes occur. In order to solve this, one must force the pciehp module to load via a boot parameter: pciehp.pciehp_force=1, but this seems to be specific to my laptop (hp dv6000t). This also allows hotplugging of the card, as long as you remember to unload snd-indigodjx before ejecting the card. Currently running Ubuntu 9.04. ** Affects: alsa-driver (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- snd-indigodjx module not included https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/394720 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
