Rigth now I'm assembling an user's powerful PC with: Intel i7 940. EVGA 3X Classified. 6 GB RAM DDR3 Dominator. nVidia 8800GTS. Ubuntu 9.04 64 bits (full patched) EXT4 file system. kernels 2.6.28-11 and -13 (no matter, both fail)
Ok, as you all said, the freezing just "happens" at any time or place (botting, browsing, etc.) there is not a fix pattern to reproduce. The nvidia drivers (standard or 180) dont'n make any difference as both also crash. My bet is with the Kernels. Any developer has a word to say please ??? Regards.
