You have been subscribed to a public bug: The konq-plugins package has now replaced the individual 'konqueror-plugin-foo' packages. Yet, both konq-plugins and konqueror-plugin-searchbar are in the same task (kubuntu-desktop). Currently there is also a "Conflicts: " tag in konq-plugins so the task is uninstallable.
(First the packages are declared to conflict with each-other and then apt is asked to install both. This makes no sense). The 'correct fix' imho is to remove konqueror-plugin-searchbar from the kubuntu-desktop task. To do that, http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/indices/override.karmic.main needs to change to remove the appropriate lines. It would be a good idea to remove konqueror-plugin-searchbar from kubuntu-meta (kubuntu-desktop/kubuntu-netbook) too. ** Affects: kubuntu-meta (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Confirmed -- [karmic] Please remove 'konqueror-plugin-searchbar' from the kubuntu-desktop task https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/bugs/392791 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kubuntu-meta in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
