The Realtek ethernet card RTL8101 does not seem to work for me either. The driver than Ubuntu Jaunty uses by default is R8169. I tried using the R8101 proprietary driver but to no avail. Did this card work with Hardy?
This is a major problem for me. Without the network card working, its completely useless; the machine is just sitting there doing nothing at the moment.
