This is still a problem. Confirmed on etch with an upgraded kernel (linux-image-2.6.26-bpo.1-amd64). The binary does not include X support, and the compiler/linker fails to find the applicable X libraries, even when told explicitly where they are.
As a workaround, install the "xsel" application, and then use the (modified) pwsafe emacs mode to pipe the usernames and passwords to xsel. pwsafe mode was originally developed by Stefan Reichör. A modified version that uses xsel is attached to this comment. ** Attachment added: "pwsafe emacs mode, modified to use xsel for clipboard interoperability." http://launchpadlibrarian.net/28470278/pwsafe_clipboard.el -- pwsafe in Dapper universe lacks X Clipboard functionality https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/46620 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
