Confirmed on the most current Edgy kernel and also on yesterday's Feisty daily live cd. This bug NEEDS to get fixed. I can't use any recent kernels or live cds because of it and the bug has been open for a long time now. This should probably also be sent upstream to the kernel folks.
It's been a long time since I've patched my kernel for anything, so if anyone wants to walk me through the process I will confirm the patch.
