1. The target distribution should be "karmic", not "unstable. 2. The package version should be 3.2.3-3ubuntu1, according to the version naming scheme upstreamversion-debianrevisionUbunturevision 3. The "maintainer"-field in debian/control should be updated to match https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebianMaintainerField 4. Please also attach your patch to the debian bugreport, that will help getting it included and we can sync the package again in the future.
