Hmm, getting nowhere really. I did a few fresh installations and it failed two out of five times after i've been trying to enable the wireless adapter. I've compared the output of lsmod before and after installing/configuring they showed no difference. When the installation fails eth0 is not present, eth1 is the first adapter listed.
