It's a simple samba share physically located on my old 300MHz desktop computer that I now use as a file server. The share is mounted on my laptop via fstab using cifs. Both machines are running Ubuntu 9.04. Samba (on the server) is 3.3.2.
Triggering the bug is done by mounting the share with Unix Extensions enabled (default, if both machines are running linux) and then trying to move something to the trash by selecting its icons and hitting <delete> in nautilus, executing 'gvfs-trash filename' in the shell or by trying to create a new empty file using nautilus' context menu. -- Creating a file on a mounted samba share creates thousands (if not millions) of duplicate files. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/391093 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
