Public bug reported: Binary package hint: totem
In Totem in Ubuntu Karmic, I'm seeing some strange behavior. When changing the volume in Totem, it changes the master GNOME volume, but ignores the linked LFE channel, which causes sound distortions. It shouldn't even be changing the GNOME volume when I change the Totem volume, a regression from Jaunty. Also, when switching between videos, Totem proceeds to mute the volume before starting the next video, again a regression from Jaunty.
