My laptop also freezes on suspend. Hibernate does work but the wireless network is off when I resume and there doesn't seem to be a way to get it working again, other than a reboot.
No random hangs on this machine but sometimes booting freezes up, which may be related to the suspend bug. The graphical progress bar runs and then there's normally a bit of color static on my screen, followed by the login prompt. But maybe once in ten startup, the burst of color and the login screen don't appear. There's no disk activity, the screen is blank, pressing keys has no effect. No solution other than a reboot. -- Ubuntu 9.0.4 freezes (does not recover from standby/hibernate) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/368690 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
