I can confirm this problem, it's affecting both of my PC's running
Jaunty 64bit.

In my case I'm trying to mount an nfs share over Ethernet.

1) I added an entry to fstab but it fails with a message similar to "DNS
Resolution failed for 192.168.1.10 Name or service not known". I have
used this exact mount line on previous Ubuntu versions without problems.

2) I tried adding _netdev as a mount option, but it fails with the same
error.

3) I added a mount entry to the rc.local as Alex did, but the network is
still unavailable when rc.local runs.

"mount -a" or manually mounting the device works after logging in.

Something is signaling that the network is ready before it actually is.

Could this have something to do with the quick boot speed of Jaunty?
