Hi! I vote this bug to be changed to a higher importance. It is very annoying because it happens quite often a day and more often when the computer is running on high load. (niced processes => 100% CPU load, e.g. boinc)
When playing mplayer video files (-vo xv) while the computer being on high load you have a very high chance to lock the whole X session for quite some time. I'll test this with only audio files next time.
