Public bug reported: I have a printer on another Ubuntu computer that is shared using Samba. If this other computer is turned off and I bring up the print dialog in Evince for example, Evince becomes unresponsive for about a minute, then the print dialog shows up but is also unresponsive. In Gedit, the print dialog shows up immediately but is also unresponsive. Eventually I can select another printer such as "Print to file" and then print.
This is on Ubuntu 9.04. ** Affects: gnome-print (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Print dialog becomes unresponsive when network printer is offline https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/388180 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
