Dear Clement,
Can you try to use another mirror? because that's the problem, you must have a 
global or most close mirror in your /etc/apt/sources.list, for example:

deb http:/en.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ jaunty main restricted
deb-src http://en.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ jaunty main restricted
..........................
.........................

The problem is because when apt goes to download this files doesn't exists in 
that server (mirror). 
You must change your mirror source and then run apt-get update && apt-get 
dist-upgrade.
