I think I'm actually on 6.1 already - I'm not actually sure how to confirm that, all the software shown in the package manager just displays the component versions, so I can't see how to verify the version number of the distribution.
Regardless, when I run the update manager just to update what I do have, I get a msg box that says: --- Not all updates can be installed Run a distribution upgrade, to install as many updates as possible. This can be caused by an incomplete upgrade, unofficial software packages, or by running a development version. --- I'm not running a development version, but I have installed a couple of extra packages to get Beryl running - so it's possible that's what's causing this. When I select the "Distribution Upgrade" button, that's when I'm told that it's can't calculate the upgrade. ** Attachment added: "/var/log/dist-upgrade/main.log" http://librarian.launchpad.net/5842896/main.log -- Update Manager could not calculate upgrade https://launchpad.net/bugs/80988 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
