I'm marking this as confirmed based on the available logs, but.... Ketil, the ideal situation would be a full Feisty install: There can be API and data structure changes in kernel releases, and these can affect the operation of dependent packages. I don't know enough to state whether installing "just" the Feisty kernel and acpi packages will be enough to get good test results.
So, be advised: The devs may reject the bug report, based on a mixed install. Or it may be accepted, based on log content..., Feisty is development software, so an install isn't risk free, but if you can install it and perform the test, that would be helpful. (FWIW, I've been running Feisty since Herd1 and it, uh, rocks. A couple of blips along the way, but nothing major, no data loss, and things work better on my A20m than under Edgy. As always, YMMV. This is development software.) ** Changed in: acpi (Ubuntu) Sourcepackagename: acpi => linux-source-2.6.20 Status: Needs Info => Confirmed -- acpi - Screen never resumes from suspend to ram https://launchpad.net/bugs/80526 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
