I reconfirm the problem is still happening. However, I know how to make it go away on my PC. My computer is connected to Internet via a Belkin router, which sits between the broadband modem and the PC(s). The problem only occurs when connected to the router. When connecting the PC directly to the broadband modem I have downloaded 700MB in one go.
There is no problem when using the same PC with the same router with Opera and there was no problem when I used Windows with the same hardware. If this is caused by the router intermittently stopping then there would be a problem with Opera too. Timing problem? Deadlock? It recovers when resuming the download, which probably reinitialises resources and variables, Could you detect sudden download inactivity and issue a pause/resume reset internally? -- [FF 3.0.4] Downloads hang and must be paused/resumed to continue https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/303294 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
