Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: deskbar-applet

I love the fact that I can use deskbar as a library, because there's
some very useful functionality in there. However:

$ python
Python 2.5.2 (r252:60911, Jul 31 2008, 17:28:52)
[GCC 4.2.3 (Ubuntu 4.2.3-2ubuntu7)] on linux2
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
>>> import os
>>> os.getcwd()
'/tmp'
>>> import deskbar
>>> os.getcwd()
'/home/glyph'

This is not expected behavior, and there's no way to turn it off. I
understand that it might need to be there, but might I suggest putting
this into /usr/lib/deskbar/deskbar-applet:applet_factory instead?
