For those that do *not* have a T21 it would be best if you could open a separate report. Since suspend/resume issues are almost entirely hardware specific it's more helpful to the Ubuntu kernel team if bug reports target one specific issue against a specific set of hardware. So even though you may be experiencing the same symptom being reported, it may indeed require a separate fix and thus warrants a new bug report. We can easily mark bug reports as duplicates later on if necessary. Please refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeam/KernelTeamBugPolicies for instructions on how to properly file a new bug against the Ubuntu kernel.
For those that have a T21 please verify the issue against the most recent Jaunty 9.04 release - http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download . If the issue remains, If you could run the following command from a Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal) it will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report. apport-collect -p linux-image-`uname -r` 46707 Also, please be sure to take a look at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingKernelSuspendHibernateResume . If you can provide any additional information outlined there it would be much appreciated. Additionally, if you could try to reproduce this with the upstream mainline kernel that would be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream-testing' tag. This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the 'needs- upstream-testing' text.
