Bug #257349 was fixed with Ubuntu 9.04 and gstreamer0.10-plugins-base
version 0.10.22-3, I have the same Ubuntu and have an even newer version
of the plugin: gstreamer0.10-plugins-base version 0.10.22-5.
I copied the entire contents of a DVD to the hard drive, and totem is
unable to play even the individual video files without crashing.
