Yeah, so the problem was similar to one of olksy: the libboost-python1.37.0 from intrepid manifested newer version than one in jaunty, but in fact didn't include libboost_python-mt-py26.so.1.37.0, only libboost_python-mt-py24.so.1.37.0 and libboost_python-mt-py25.so.1.37.0. Maybe the package maintainers could look into it. Meanwhile, here's some advice for fellow Ubunteros, who'll stumble on the same problem (and this page is one of the first that comes up in Google if you search for it): if you get the same error: 1. run deluged -L debug -d 2. find out which file causes the trouble 3. check which package it comes from 4. reinstall/upgrade/downgrade the package to make sure it is the native jaunty version.
