If this is still a problem for you in Kubuntu 9.04, could you please post the
following?
- A copy of the output of the command "lspci -vvnn" when typed into konsole
(two v's, not a w)
- A copy of the /var/log/Xorg.0.log file
- A copy of the /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old file
