xorg.conf: I've tried different drivers, such as radeonhd and fglrx.
I've forced the resolution into 1440x900, since the computer is connected via HDMI to a flat panel TV, which has a physical resolution of 1440x900, but always lists these resolutions for multimedia compatibility: % xrandr Screen 0: minimum 640 x 480, current 1680 x 1050, maximum 1680 x 1050 default connected 1680x1050+0+0 0mm x 0mm 1680x1050 60.0* 1400x1050 60.0 1280x1024 60.0 1440x900 60.0 1280x960 60.0 1360x768 60.0 1152x864 60.0 1024x768 60.0 800x600 60.0 56.0 640x480 60.0 which makes xorg choose a wrong resolution (being interpolated) by the TV. ** Attachment added: "xorg.conf" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/27653353/xorg.conf -- Bad support for ATI RS690 / X1200 graphics card https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/367409 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
