I switched back to the previous kernel where the mouse was working and that did fix the problem. I also tried the xorg.conf generated by xorg -configure (which tries the "mouse" driver instead of evdev) and installed the xorg-input-driver-mouse package and set AllowEmptyInput to true in ServerLayout. That didn't help either. For now I have to use keyboard as mouse..
I've also tried gpm and it doesn't appear to be working. Maybe something udev or hal related? Nor does "cat /dev/input/mice" which in the past has shown data/junk when you move the mouse. -- Mouse stopped working after upgrade to Karmic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/378818 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
