Public bug reported: when playing back a h264 file the video playback is jumpy. This means it stutters forward and backward in time. The video is HD youtube movie. I file this bug against libavcodec, because both totem and VLC are affected, which afaik use both avacodec for h264. This does not happen when I use MPlayer. Instead it complains that "first frame is no keyframe", but then plays back the movie fine.
Update: just found out that MPlayer uses liavcodec as well, but it is not affected by the bug.
