Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Ubuntu 9.04. Anything downloaded from or viewed on the internet is very
jerky in full screen mode. BBC I player, Firefox, Opera, Epiphany - all
have the same problem. Sound quality on all formats; music, DVD,
Iplayer, Internet is distorted unless played at low volume. Viewed the
help pages but nothing I can see that is relevant. Cheers
