Public bug reported:

Yes, I know... Special signs are out of place in a filename. But i tried it. So
far, so good. The file with this attribute was usable all time ... until....
After an routine-check of the devices the hole system crashed. The message
appears: "Invalid file type in the file-system of the home partition..." or
likewise
"The error must be removed manually."

I am using the gnome2 - desktop, jaunty - 64bit.
The file was a simple open document text.
All available updates have been installed.
But no renaming of the file was possible. No Data-Backup of this file was
possible.

I run a new Setup ....... cause I am new here ...

It is possible to block the typing of invalid signs in a file-name?

I am still learning - promised....

best regards!
