Hi Frank, the driver in use can be found looking at 'sudo lspci -vvvnn'
but drivers should be loaded automatically. With libata the hdparm
command cannot be used for setting the DMA mode. Can you add "debug" to
the kernel command line in grub (escape on the countdown then 'e' on the
kernel to boot, select the middle line and press 'e' again. After
editing enter and 'b' to boot) and post the dmesg output from that.
