Jani, We, kernel team, don't want to add this patch to our stable release kernel even though this is a small patch. Please try to confirm mainline build kernel works for you, http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel- ppa/mainline/v2.6.30-rc8/.
So if it works, this issue will gone in next release.
