This is from a re-install. What I did was, I installed it, then removed it after a day. Tried BitDefenders new scanner and did not like it, so I wanted to go back. Well I did sudo apt-get install and those are the errors that came up.
I completely removed those files you listed after trying: Re-install again, reboot. I also got the same error message when installing VirtualBox via apt- get. Running 9.04 BTW and it is up to date.
