Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
Package Version: 3.0.8+nobinonly-0ubuntu3 Dist Version: 9.04 When playing a game in Firefox-3.0 (Version), keyboard input to flash player will be intermittently dropped. For example, in the game Platform Racer 2, at: http://www.kongregate.com/games/Jiggmin/platform-racing-2 If you press and hold the down arrow, your character should charge a high jump, until you let go. You should be able to hold the down arrow for a minute without jumping. As it is now, after a couple of seconds, you will 'let go' and your character will jump (aka the flash player stopped getting the down arrow keypress). This can make for some very jittery gameplay. This only started occurring after I upgraded to 9.04. I've tested with an upgraded 64-bit install, and a fresh 32-bit install. The issue does not happen with Opera using the same flash plugin. Also, this is not a duplicate of: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox-3.0/+bug/243856 but may be related to something that was done to fix that bug. ** Affects: firefox-3.0 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Firefox-3.0 intermittently drops keyboard input from flash https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/381935 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
